Capital Area Federal Credit Union understands the importance of teaching our youth the value of savings.

We have two different youth programs; 

• Our Monty Moose program is for ages up to 9.
• Our S.A.V.E program is for ages up to 14.

Membership Eligibility Required

The minimum deposit for both accounts is $10.00 and receives dividends on the initial deposit. The credit union also offers youth certificates for 18 months and 24 months (call for rates).

Monty Moose mails out Birthday cards and participates in special events such as Windsor Days, Financial Fitness week amoung many other local events.  Monty Moose also has helpers that go directly to a few local schools to pick up deposits throughout the month, the kids just bring in their piggy banks to school and we do the rest.

April was Financial Fitness Month and this year Monty Moose was on hand for the coloring contest, and refreshments. Here are a few of our visitors during the week.
