At Capital Area, we understand the importance of family and community. We are dedicated to supporting the communities we serve in a variety of ways. 

In 2009 your staff volunteered over 400 hours of their personal time for several different organizations and fund raising efforts. In 2010 we already have committed to many more hours of volunteering and are excited to give back to our community as well as those people around the world.  

SAVE THE DATES: March 20,2010 @10am is our Annual Bowl-A-Thon at 1-7-10 Sports Center and then on May 22, 2010 we are having our always famous YARD SALE, both of which will benefit Maine Special Olympics.

Also in 2010 we will be having several items to sell over the course of the year that will benefit the Maine Credit Union’s Ending Hunger Campaign. 

We believe in “People helping People” and believe in supporting our community whenever we can, however we know we can not do it without the support of our members, family and friends……So Thank you in supporting us!!!!
